For the first time the Georges Méliès, First Wizard of Cinema (1896-1913) boxed set offers almost all of the preserved films by the French film director, from the first, Card Party (1896) to the last, The Voyage of the Bourricion Family (1913). This monumental collection brings together 173 films restored and set to music on 5 DVDs in other words a total of 13 hours of viewing. The films are accompanied by a booklet with tributes by Norman MacLaren and John Frazer, articles on Georges Méliès' life and on the restoration of his films.
